iPhone 13 Mini is still charging slowly via Magsafe

via Magsafe Like its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Mini can be charged inductively via Magsafe. This still happens more slowly than with the other iPhone models.

The iPhone 13 Mini has one thing in common with its predecessor iPhone 12 Mini: it can only charge wirelessly with 12 watts. This emerges from a support document from Apple. All other iPhone 13 models can charge with 15 watts via MagSafe.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any improvements to the new iPhone Mini. The battery life has been increased. Apple specifies a runtime that is up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Mini.

Nevertheless, those who use the iPhone Mini extensively will probably have to recharge once a day, according to Golem.de’s experience.

The iPhone 13 Mini has a 2,406 mAh battery, while the iPhone 12 Mini has a battery capacity of 2,227 mAh. So Apple has not only made the battery bigger to extend the battery life, but has also implemented other energy-saving measures. Apple does not specify which these are. The iPhone 13 Mini starts at 799 euros.

The memory configuration ranges from 128 to 256 to 512 GB. The iPhone 12 Mini cost at market launch with reduced VAT and 64 GB from 778.85 euros. With 128 GB the surcharge was 49 euros, with 256 GB it was around 166 euros.
